About Me

Hi, this is I cook, he eats, and we travel. I am Dyane and the boyfriend is Emilio. It’s Mexicanese because he is Mexican (but loves Asian food) and I am half Japanese (and die for salsas and micheladas).

In this blog, I hope to write about all the food that I am learning to cook (it’s my new hobby and hopefully a second career when teaching wears me out), how the boyfriend rates each meal, and then of course, the traveling and eating that we do. In 2012, we went crazy and have been to eight countries together. We probably won’t be able to maintain that rate for the future (I mean, we are broke teachers), but hopefully a new city or country every year.

    I’ve been eating the tuna cabbage and eggs for many years. I grew up on that. People used to make fun of me but I don’t care. I love it thanks for posting your recipe.
